The Rotary Morrison Youth center provides valuable multi-use community gathering and recreation spaces for vulnerable youth, their families, and the therapists who utilize the facilities daily.
The 4,100 SF building meets net-zero standards deriving 100% of its energy from the XXX kW PV array. Additionally, rainwater harvesting is publicly located to act as a subliminal teaching tool regarding the sustainability features of the structure. A mural was designed and installed in collaboration with the Portland Street Art Alliance to wrap around the southern street-facing façade and into the building, giving life and energy to the otherwise auto-oriented streetscape.
Kaleido Studio is a proud supporter of the mission of the Rotary Club. Owner Corey Omey and Architect of Record Dan Bramske have been longstanding members of the Portland Rotary Club.
